Meet Nicola Henton: The Mortgage Adviser Making your Dream Home a Reality

We recently met with Nicola, Head of Mortgage & Protection at Hello Mortgage, to learn more about her and her role in the company. As our mortgage protection adviser, she assists clients right from the start of their journey, whether buying, selling, or remortgaging their home.

Nicola fell into the sector over 14 years ago at the start of her career; she has spent most of her working life as an Estate Agent and in Mortgage Advising spaces. Nicola's career spans the entire property industry, from Estate agent beginnings to property management.

Nicola shared that she transitioned to Mortgage Advising because she loved her work as a real estate agent but often had limited involvement in the home buying and selling process. She explained, "I could assist with viewings, but I might not be part of a client's journey again. With my role now, clients call me years in advance for advice, and I stay involved until the sale is complete."

Nicola's passion for mortgage Advising comes from her desire to help others with their property ventures. She wants to provide clarity in the current housing market, especially for young people facing challenges." Everyone deserves access to advice and support when unsure about the proceedings," she tells us.

She highlighted the importance of being a people person and genuinely wanting to help clients understand and enjoy buying, selling or remortgaging their home.
